Mary Elizabeth Boyd Abbott

Mary Elizabeth Abbott, 78, of Greenville died Saturday,
November 23, 2002, at a local nursing home. There was a
memorial service Tuesday, November 26, 2002, at Southwood
Christian Church with Rev. Don Hicks officiating.

Born September 30, 1924, in Grandbury, she was the daughter of
Herbert and Margaret Elizabeth Tarrant Boyd. She was a
seamstress and homemaker. She was a Baptist.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Jane Oakley III
of Celeste; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Bobbie Boyd of
Weatherford; sister-in-law Dorothy Boyd of Texas City; grandchildren
Stephen Oakley and wife Yvette of Midland, De Ana Gore and
husband Jeff Gore of Celeste, Jon Oakley Jr. of Pennslvania and
Aaron Oakley and Andrea Oakley, both of Fort Worth;
great-grandchildren Jarred and Tyler Oakley of Midland and several
nieces and nephews.
