Arce Cummings

LEONARD -- Funeral services for Arce Cummings, 85, of
Trenton are at 10:00 AM Friday, October 25, 2002, at
the Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Henry
and Rev. Steve Holland officiating. Burial is at Sunny
Side Cemetery in Savoy.

Mr. Cummings died Wednesday, October 23, 2002, at the
Clyde W. Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham.

He was born October 18, 1916, in the White Rock Community,
son of Charles M. Cummings and Ida May Seals Cummings.
On November 8, 1943, he married Edith Lou McNeil in Bonham.

Mr. Cummings served in the US Army during World War II. He was
a member of the First Baptist Church in Trenton. He was
a farmer and a carpenter.

Surviving are his wife of Trenton; a daughter, Arlene Cummings
of Trenton; brothers Harvey L. Cummings and Charles M.
Cummings, both of Sherman and a sister, Imogene Thompson of
Sherman.
