All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** William Henry Bagley Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Chapel for William Henry (Uncle Bud) Bagley, retired businessman, who died suddenly of a heart attack Sunday at his home, 4108 Cordell, Greenville. The Rev. Albert Click and the Rev. Jim Bradford conducted the services. Burial was in the Celeste Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Grotts, Ira Campbell, Jack Ruff, Ralph Evans, George McGee, and Houston Furr. Mr. Bagley had lived in and near Greenville for the past fourteen years. He was born October 18, 1877, in Alabama and was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, W. H. Bagley, Jr.; two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Joyner, Houston, and Mrs. R. E. Clayborn, Whittier, California; one brother, Rev. J. E. Bagley, Abilene; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great- grandchildren. (May 6, 1960, The Celeste Courier)
