Mary Frances Combs Beer

     Celeste—Graveside services for Mary Frances Beer, 73, of Celeste, were
held Sunday, September 28, 2003, at 3:00 PM at the Pike Cemetery in Pike with
James Ralson officiating. Beer passed away on Friday, September 26, 2003, at
the Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

     Beer was born on January 14, 1930, in Meadow, the daughter of John A.
Combs and Ola Geneva Evans Combs. She married John W. Beer in August in 1967 in
Greenville. She was a Baptist and a licensed vocational nurse.

     Survivors include her sons, Freddy Joe Mills of Quinlan, Ricky Nelson of
Buffalo, Ben Nelson of Kansas City, Missouri, and Lee Robinette of Fountain
Hills, Arizona; daughter, Gina Ann Mills of Celeste; sisters and brothers-in-
law, Rita Moore and Johnny Moore of Pike, Brenda Wallace of Pike, Linda Hawkins
and Steve Hawkins of Caddo, Oklahoma, Mary Combs of Durant, Oklahoma, and
Deanna Combrink and Michael Combrink of Durant, Oklahoma; brothers and sisters-
in-law, James Johnson and Mary Cato Johnson of Leonard, Robert Johnson and Sue
Cato Johnson of Pike, Curly Combs and Audrey Combs of Celeste, Marvin Johnson
and Bonnie Johnson of Pilot Grove, Ronnie Johnson of Celeste, and Wayne Combs
and Elaine Combs of Wick, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, and seven great-
grandchildren.

     Taylor Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
