All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** Mrs. Annah Rebecca Bickham Services Here Thursday Morning, 1959 Mrs. Annah Rebecca Meek Bickham Mrs. Annah Rebecca Meek Bickham, 84, a former long-time resident of Celeste, died Tuesday afternoon, August 18, 1959, at 1:15 in a Greenville hospital. She was born in Cumby, July 5, 1875, the daughter of Jacob Meek Keith and Sarah Frances Watson Keith. For the past eight years, she had resided in Dallas and Fort Worth. She was a member of the Celeste Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Eura Williams, Dallas; five sons, Floyd B. Bickham of Heidelberg, Mississippi, E. E. (Josh) Bickham of Fort Worth, David C. Bickham and Lemuel (Mose) Bickham, both of Amarillo, and George A. Bickham of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Bert Cobb of Greenville and Mrs. Virginia Haglen of Clovis, New Mexico; twelve grandchildren, Johnnie Nell Williams Robinson, Anna V. Williams Hudson, Norma Faye Williams, Ralph Edward Bickham, Edwin Bickham, Billie Jean Bickham, Deanne Bickham, Joe David Bickham, Jerry Delano Bickham, Roger Earl Bickham, Keith Daryl Bickham, Jr., and Merle Eugene Bickham; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Karen Lynn Robinson, Norman Edward Robinson, Larry Allen Hudson, Ann Nell Hudson, Joe Dan Bickham, Carol Lynn Bickham, Mark Lynn Bickham, Linda Ann Bickham, Elaine Bickham, William David Bickham, Daryl Edwin Bickham, Kaye Francis Bickham, and Ronald Edward Bickham. She was preceded in death by one son, Keith D. Bickham of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and one daughter, Anna Ruth Bickham of Celeste. Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning at 10:00 AM, August 20, 1959, at the Celeste Methodist Church with Dr. Harrison Baker of Dallas and the Rev. Albert Click, pastor of the Celeste church, officiating. Burial was in the Celeste Cemetery under the direction of James-Coker-Peters Funeral Home. (August 21, 1959, The Celeste Courier)
