Funeral services were held Tuesday at 3:00 PM in the First Baptist Church in Leonard with Rev. Bruce Cushman officiating. Interment was in Indian Creek Cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Grandsons were pallbearers, Chester Butts, Norman Butts, Bobby Butts, Lloyd Cummings, Kyle Wilson, and J. C. Hodgkiss. Mrs. Brimer was born December 15, 1870 at Pike, Texas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Boren. She married William Henry Brimer June 3, 1884, and he preceded her in death on April 8, 1943. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lou Garrison of Porterville, California and Mrs. Willie Hodgkiss of Sherman; one son, Joe Brimer of Weslaco; two sisters, Mrs. Delia Hunter of Lane, and Mrs. Fannie Halliburton of Dallas; one brother, I. J.
