All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** Alean Fronterhouse Brown Leonard—Alean Fronterhouse Brown, 85, of Wolfe City, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother went home to be with Jesus on October 8, 2003. She died at Greencrest Manor in Greenville. Services are at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 11, 2003, at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel in Leonard with Brother Lewis Ben Smith officiating. Burial is in Pike Cemetery near Leonard. She was born on December 12, 1917, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, daughter of Charlie Fronterhouse and Alice Lovett Fronterhouse. She was married to Lonnie Brown on February 26, 1935, in Sayre, Oklahoma. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Honey Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Lonnie Brown of Wolfe City; sons and daughters-in-law Charles Brown and Cherry Thacker Brown of Greenville, Jack Brown and Linda Brown of Farmersville, Dan Brown and Cindy Brown of Wolfe City, and Russell Brown and Shirley Brown of Wolfe City; daughters and son-in-law Barbara Howard and Robert Howard of Farmersville and Winnie Crawford of Richardson; sisters Ruby Fitzgerald of Arkansas, Arvil Williams of Willow, Oklahoma, and Lorene Shelton of Sayre, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Pete Brown, son-in-law William Crawford, and granddaughter Jennifer. Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, October 10, 2003, at the funeral home.
