All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** Annie Bell Canada Annie Bell Canada, 58, died in Kerrville on Wednesday, December 21, 1966, after a lengthy illness. Miss Canada had lived in the Celeste and Caddo Mills areas most of her life. She was born on August 11, 1908, in Kaufman County. Her parents were A. F. Canada and Maggie Lee McCain Canada. Deceased is survived by three brothers, G. W. Canada, Dallas; F. E. Canada, Celeste; and C. C. Canada, Greenville; three sisters, Rosie Davis, Fort Worth; Lillian Rabun, Quinlan; and Jimmie Grotts, Bixby, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and one brother. Services were held at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Funeral Chapel in Greenville with the Rev. B. J. Bell and the Rev. Robert Baldridge officiating. Burial was in the Merit Cemetery. Avon Poteet, Johnny Johnson, C. A. Jennings, Nathan Chandler, J. D. Gay, and Jack McWilliams served as pallbearers.
