Charlene "Candy" Craver

Charlene "Candy" Craver, 59, of Marshall died Saturday,
October 19, 2002 in Longview. Services were 11:00 AM,
Tuesday, October 22, 2002 at the Travis Street Colonial
Chapel of the Sullivan Funeral Home. Burial followed in
Piney Cemetery. Visitation was 6:00-8:00 PM, October 21st,
at the Travis Street Chapel of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Mrs. Craver was born July 15, 1943 in Dallas to Charles
Marvin Sherrard and Lillian Ethelene Sherrard. She married
Carol Ray Craver on July 14, 1962 in Greenville, Texas. She
worked as an Avon representative and supervisor for over
twenty-five years.

She is survived by her husband, Carol Craver; daughter,
Angela Craver McDowell and her husband Dewayne McDowell;
granddaughters, Jennifer Leann McDowell and Amanda Raylene
McDowell; brother, Charles Richard Sherrard of Mesquite; sister,
Linda Sherrard Hartin and her husband Conover Hartin III of Garland,
Texas; brother, Alvin Huey Sherrard and his wife Margaret Sherrard
of Mesquite; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Bobbie Craver
Calloway and Don Calloway of Kingston, Texas; Vianell Craver Moore
and Bert Moore of Wolfe City, Texas; Ronnie Craver and Carol "Sister"
Craver of Greenville, Clifford Horton and Marshall Craver Horton of
Kingston, Franky Craver and Ouida Thorp Craver of Howe, Texas and
Terry L. Craver of Greenville, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Sherrard and
Ethelene Sherrard and brother-in-law, Oliver N. Craver.

Pallbearers were Philip White, Daryl Hartin, Mark Sherrard, Mike
Batchelor, Clif Sherrard, Trisco Escalon, Brian Horton and Buddy
Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers were David Sherrard, Cotton Top
Horton, Fred Sherrard, Bubba Farrar, Michael Craver and Ray
Spurgin.
