(Buddy) Clark Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Celeste Methodist Church for W. R. (Buddy) Clark, a longtime resident of Celeste. The Rev. Albert Click, pastor, and the Rev. Herbert Minga of Denton officiated. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of James-Coker-Peters Funeral Home of Greenville. Pallbearers were Jacque Bickham, Monroe Passons, Sam Gibson, Albert Granberry, and Ed Cardwell of Celeste and Howard Nix of Greenville. Mr. Clark was born on April 10, 1866, in Montgomery, Alabama. He came to Texas when he was eighteen years old. In 1899, he was married to Lillie Curtis, who preceded him in death. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Celeste Methodist Church. Surviving are a grandson, Clifford Clark of Celeste; two granddaughters, Lillian Ann Clark Bishop of Celeste and Mrs. Cal Wester of Frisco, Texas; four great-grandchildren.
