Rita Maude Ellard Craft

   Mrs. Rita Maude Craft, 78, died at her home in Longview on June 2, 1974 (we
have June 3, 1974).  Funeral services were held at Raders Funeral Home in
Longview on Monday, June 3, 1974, at 2:00 PM, with burial in Palestine.  (We
have June 4, 1974).
   Mrs. Craft was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ike Ellard and formerly lived
in Celeste.  She was a 1916 CHS graduate.  She was married to John Craft of
Leonard in December of 1924.
   Survivors include two daughters; one sister, Mrs. Ralph Shaver of Yucaipa,
California; and two brothers, Ike Ellard of San Antonio and Burk Ellard of
Amarillo.
   Attending the services at Longview were Garland Roach of Greenville and
Vonda Walker of Celeste.
