Adel Duckworth

Adel Duckworth, 99 of Greenville, formerly of North Little Rock, Ark. passed
away Friday at a local nursing home. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Monday at
Peters Funeral Home chapel with Mr. Gordon Grammer officiating. Burial will
follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation is at Peters Funeral Home from 6
until 8 p.m. today.
She was born on Feb. 3, 1907 in Eddyville, Ky, to Melvin and Lucinda Oliver. On
Oct. 26, 1927 she married Glenard Duckwoth on Bush, Ill. She was a homemaker and
a member of the Southside Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy White of Greenville, grandchildren,
Lucinda Brooks and husband Marshall of Greenville, James Carter Watts and wife,
Cathy, of Pine Bluff, Ark. Kathy Lamm and husband, David, of Greenville, and
Lisa Glover and husband, Chuck of Rockwall; great-grandchildren, Aaron Lamm of
Greenville, and Brett Glover and Christopher Glover, both of Rockwall; and
several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenard, in March, 1969, daughters
Lynda (Wanda) Watts and Evlyn Duckworth; six brothers and one sister.
Granchildren will serve as pallbearers.
