All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** Mary Ann Durham Longtime resident of Greenville, Mary Ann Durham (known as "Bonnie" to her family and friends) passed away Sunday, February 29, 2004, following a hard- fought battle with cancer. Funeral services are scheduled at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at Westview United Methodist Church under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Clay Arnold will officiate. Burial is at Memoryland Memorial Park. Bonnie was born on January 4, 1936, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to Robert Daniels, Sr., and Gayla Feld Daniels. She was married to Bill Durham for forty-four years until he died in 1999. She was a quality analyst for E- Systems until her retirement. Mrs. Durham was an active member of Westview United Methodist Church. She was involved in many areas of the community as a member of the Greenville Kiwanis Club, a board member of the Service First Credit Union, a strong supporter of Women In Need, an ombudsman for local nursing home residents, and a reading tutor for Bowie Elementary School children. Her hobbies included gardening, bowling, traveling, shopping, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a wonderful wit and loved to make people laugh. Her strength and support for those she loved will be greatly missed. Mrs. Durham is survived by her son, Tom Durham of Greenville; daughters Kathy Felty of Celeste and Patti Fish of Carrollton; brothers Robert Daniel, Jr., Mike Daniels, and Dick Daniels all of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; grandchildren Melanie Crommett, Daniel Crommett, Jeff Fisk, Crystal Durham, Jonathan Vowell, Bethany Vowell, Jessica Vowell, Michael Hurley, Jana Hurley, and Taylor Felty; and great-grandchild Mikey Harrington. Mrs. Durham's husband, parents, and one sister preceded her in death. Pallbearers are Daniel Crommett, Jeff Fisk, Jonathan Vowell, Michael Hurley, Billy Eldridge, and Mike Harrington.
