I. J. Ellard

Mr. I. J. Ellard, passed away at his home in Celeste on Tuesday, November 17,
1926, after an illness of three weeks. Funeral services were conducted
Wednesday, November 18, 1926, at the Celeste Baptist Church, with the Rev.
White and Rev. Sullivan officiating. Burial was in Lane Cemetery and was in
charge of the Celeste Masonic Lodge.

I. J. Ellard Died at Celeste Tuesday
I. J. Ellard, aged sixty-five years, and for the
past thirty years a citizen of Celeste died about noon
Tuesday (November 16, 1926?) following an illness of some
weeks.
Deceased had been active in the business life of Celeste
and was also active socially and religiously in the service
of his church
and community.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, and three daughters.
Burial was had at Lane, funeral conducted by Rev. W. B.
McDaniel and Rev. Sullivan, the Masonic order in charge
at the grave.
