Mrs. Della Lillian Fields
    Mrs. Della Lillian Fields, 86, of Greenville, died August 30, 1978, in
Gilbert Nursing Home at Leonard.

Funeral services were at 2:00 PM, Sunday, in the Mount Olive Baptist Church with
the Rev. G. F. Washington officiating.  Burial was in the Peniel Cemetery under
the direction of Cozine Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fields was born on June 2, 1892, in Roberts County, the Daughter of Jasper
Smiley and Rena Smiley.  She was married to James Fields in Dallas and was a
member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Rucell Fields of Dallas; three daughters, Mrs. Arrellia
Robinson of Greenville, Mrs. Julia Ann Furnace of Dallas, and Mrs. Willie Ann
Elm of Oakland, California; and a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren;
