T. Frazier Funeral services for Mrs. J. T. Frazier, 87, were held at 3:00 PM on Sunday in the Revlon Baptist Church. Mrs. Frazier died at the home of her son, Jim Frazier, 1103 Wolfe City Drive, Greenville, at 2:20 AM, Saturday, October 21, 1961. She had been ill for the past ten weeks. Burial was in the McWright Cemetery with Rev. Troy Culpepper and J. D. Steiger officiating. Mrs. Frazier moved to Texas in 1910 and lived in Celeste for ten years before moving to Greenville. She was born May 29, 1874 in DeKalb County, Alabama, the daughter of Preston Stafford and Samantha Horton Stafford. She was married to J. T. Frazier in Alabama on December 20, 1894. Mrs. Frazier is survived by five sons, Jim Frazier of Greenville; Preston Frazier, Quinlan; Bob Frazier, Roy Frazier, both of Alabama; and Goyt Frazier, California; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Brazil, Merit; Mrs. Bill Linton, Greenville; and Mrs. Art Miries, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Daisey Keefe, Fort Payne, Alabama; and Mrs. Mandy Martin, Portsville, Alabama; twenty-nine grandchildren, sixty-one great-grandchildren; and three great- great-grandchildren. ********************************************************* USGENWEB ARCHIVES NOTICE: Copyright.
