All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** JOE THOMAS GAULDEN Joe Thomas Gaulden, 44, of Plano passed away August 14, 1980, in a Dallas hospital. Funeral services were held August 16, 1980, at the Pitman Creek Church of Christ in Plano with Bill Swetman and David Davy officiating. Masonic graveside service was held at the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City. Mr. Gaulden was born in Celeste, Texas on January 19, 1936, to Mr. and Mrs. Joe N. Gaulden. He was a pharmacist with the Department of Health Resources and former owner of Gaulden Pharmacies in Commerce. He was a past master of the Commerce Lodge #439, AF&AM, a past patron of the Commerce Chapter 208, Order of Eastern Star, and a member of the Pitman Creek Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife, Georgeanne Gaulden, and son Scott Gaulden, both of Plano; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe N. Gaulden of Leonard; and a brother, C. F. Gaulden of Greenville. The family requests any memorials go to the BUMC Foundation for Virginia Cvetko Fund in memory of Joe Gaulden, 3600 Gaston Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75246, or to a favorite charity.
