Matthews (Mathews) Gibbs, 86, was born on August 18, 1881, in Kingston, Hunt County, Texas, the daughter of William Matthews and Mary Guest Mathews.  She died on October 31, 1967, in Methodist Hospital, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, where she had been a patient for one day.  She was a resident of Celeste, Texas, and a widow.  W. M. Gibbs, son, was the informant.  Burial was made on November 1, 1967, East Mount Cemetery, Greenville, Texas.  (71520)
