Lovick Pierce Gray

Lovick Pierce Gray, a longtime resident of the Lane community, died at 9:00
AM, Saturday, March 31, 1962, in a Greenville hospital, following a short
illness.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 PM Sunday in the Celeste Methodist Church.
The Rev. A. F. Click, pastor, officiated. Burial was made in the Lane Cemetery
with Wilson Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Gray was born on January 4, 1884, in Queens City, Cass County, Texas, the
son of William Henry Gray and Molly Pickerton Gray. An aunt, Mr. O. O.
Pickerton of the Lane community, reared him.

He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors are two brothers, Orel Gray of Lane community; Robert Gray of
