Mamie Hudson

Mrs. Mamie Crenshaw Hudson, 95, of Miller Grove, a former teacher in Celeste
Schools, died on October 13, 1977, at Leisure Lodge in Sulphur Springs.

Services were held at the Miller Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev.
Robert Ridley officiating. Burial was in the Miller Grover Cemetery.

Cumby Chapter 1043 of the Eastern Star conducted OES services at the church.

Mrs. Hudson was born March 21, 1882, in Poetry. She married Joseph F. Hudson in
1918, at Lone Oak, and he died November 13, 1954. A retired teacher, she was a
member of the Miller Grove Methodist Church and the Cumby OES.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bennie Nobles of Mesquite; two grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren.
