Mr. Gibson was a well-known salesman. Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Sunday in the Coker-Mathews-Peters Chapel in Greenville with the Rev. C. B. Garrett officiating. Burial was made in McWright Cemetery, northwest of Greenville. A native of Hunt County, Mr. Gibson was born in Celeste on January 19, 1897, and was the son of T. E. Gibson and Hattie Jolley Gibson. He lived around Greenville and Celeste until approximately two years ago when he moved to Bonham. Mr. Gibson was a member of the South Side Church of Christ, Bonham. Surviving are two sons, Ralph Gibson and Paul Gibson of Greenville; four daughters, Mrs. Richard Hendricks of Glenwood, California, Mrs. Glen Hicks of San Antonio, Mrs. M. L. Travis of Greenville, Mrs. Cass Nation of Greenville; two brothers, G. B. Gibson of Greenville and Jess Gibson of Celeste; one sister, Mrs. Garvin Doan of Celeste, and ten grandchildren.
