Bernice Allen Long

Funeral services for Bernice Long, 59, of RR 3, Greenville, are set for 3:00
PM, Friday, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Chapel. She died Tuesday night at her
residence.

Mrs. Long was born on September 29, 1929, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Mr. and Mrs.
Lewis Allen. She was married to Minnie Ray Long in Atlanta.

Surviving are a son, Ray Allen Long of Greenville; daughters, Delta Devine and
Suzan Baker, both of Charlotte, North Carolina and Lisa Hockersmith of
Greenville; brothers, Robert Allen of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Dick Allen
of Tallahassee, Florida; and George Allen of Atlanta; sisters, Margaret Guyton
and Thina Corbett, both of Atlanta, and nine grandchildren.

Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her husband in 1967 and two sisters. (July
