Masters, 68, of 1338 Pleasant Drive, a retired employee of Ford Motor Company, will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, in the Colonial Baptist Church, 3005 Glover Pass, with the Rev. John G. Moore officiating.  Burial will be in the Grove Hill Memorial Park.  Mr. Masters, a Dallas resident for thirty-five years, died Monday at his home.  A native of Celeste, Hunt County, he attended Burleson College in Greenville and Texas A&M College.  He was a deacon of the Colonial Baptist Church and superintendent of its adult Sunday School department.  Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Miss Mary Masters of Dallas; a brother, B. E. Masters of Kilgore; and two sisters, Mrs. Leta Abrams of Dallas and Mrs. Robert B. Neale, Sr., of Denton. Pallbearers will be J. G. Brown, C. A. Thomason, R. E. Walling, T. H. Almon, S. K. Fitzgerald, and Thomas Wilkins.  Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of the Colonial Baptist Church.  (January 3, 1962, The Dallas Morning News) Was a member of the Scyene Home Demonstration Club in April of 1937.
