Jess O. McGuire

Funeral services for Jess O. McGuire will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January
19, 1963, at the First Methodist Church in Celeste. The pastor, the Rev.
Albert Click, will officiate.

Mr. McGuire died at his home in Celeste at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 17,
1963, after a lengthy illness.

He was born on September 23, 1887, the son of John A. McGuire and Anne Turney
McGuire. He was a member of the Celeste Methodist Church. At one time, he was
Justice of the Peace at Celeste.

Survivors include his widow, Bessie Mae Girdner McGuire; three sons, Jess O.
McGuire, Jr., of Amarillo; A. G. McGuire of Dallas, and Dick McGuire of
Lubbock; two sisters, Mrs. H. W. Baker of Dallas, and Mrs. F. A. Boutwell of
Leonard; two grandchildren, Katy McGuire of Amarillo, and Martha McGuire of
