All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** ANNIE MAE DOYLE MILTON Rice—Funeral services for Annie Mae Doyle Milton, 94, of Rice, formerly of Celeste, will be held today, June 3, 2004, at 2:00 PM, in the Coker-Mathews Chapel in Greenville with Bob Layman officiating. Burial will follow in the Merit Cemetery with her nephews serving as pallbearers. Milton passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2004, at 11:35 PM at Ennis Regional Medical Center. Milton was born on March 7, 1910, in Hunt County, the daughter of J. W. (Will) Doyle and Ida Helton Doyle. They were connected to the early Dulaney and Prosperity communities, schools, and churches. She married Frank Milton in 1930 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a retired seamstress, avid gardener, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Celeste. Her survivors include daughters, Doris Ray Davis of Dallas and Frankie Ann Thomason of Rice; brothers, J. Noland Doyle of Houston and Howard Doyle of Fort Worth; sister, Beatrice Edwards of Ferris; granddaughter, Cecilia Ann Bogan of Lewisville; grandsons, Bobby Thomason of Rowlett and Jack Anthony Davis of Dallas; great-grandson, Dustin Bogan of Lewisville and great- granddaughter, Catelin Davis of Dallas. Her husband, Frank Milton; parents, Will Doyle and Ida Doyle; three brothers, George Doyle, Charlie Doyle, and Johnny Doyle; and two sisters, Alma Rigsby and Rae Baker, preceded her in death. Visitation was held at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 2, 2004, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. (June 3, 2004, The Leonard Graphic)
