Dr. John B. Mitchell
    Dr. John B. Mitchell, 52, of Evansville, Indiana, died on March 3, 1978.
    Dr. Mitchell, during his sixteen years of service, became widely known for
his success in infant and child nutrition. He had been on the teaching staff
of Saint Mary's Medical Center.  He held memberships in the Los Angeles
Pediatric Society, a clinic there, and Research Foundation, among many other
associations.
    His military services was in WWII and the Korean Conflict.
    He attended the University of Texas Medical School, following
undergraduate work in SMU, Dallas.
    He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Stella Mitchell of Austin.  His late
father was H. B. Mitchell of Celeste.  He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. R.
B. Mitchell who were lifelong citizens of Celeste.  (March 31, 1978, The
