Nicholson died at his home in this city at 1 o'clock this morning after an illness of several weeks. He was born in Old Green Hill, Stewart County, Georgia, in 1874, and came to Texas in 1882, settling in the Jacobia community, where he farmed until sixteen years ago, when he removed to this city and had resided here ever since that time. The funeral services were held at the family residence on East Park street at 3 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. A. A. Duncan, pastor of the First Baptist Church, after which burial was had in the City Cemetery.
