Pinkston, 37, who lost his life in a fire that destroyed his home at Conroe on July 6, 1963, were held at the Branch Funeral Chapel at Conroe at 4:00 PM Monday. Mr. Pinkston, a former resident of Celeste and 1942 graduate of the Celeste High School, was buried in the cemetery at Conroe. (July 12, 1963, The Celeste Courier)
