James B. Porter
    James B. Porter, 79, was born on December 18, 1876, in Tennessee, the son of
B. H. Porter of Mississippi, and Ella C. Barbee of Mississippi.  He died on
April 7, 1956, at 2513 1/2 Johnson Street, Greenville Hunter County, Texas.  Mr.
Porter was a retired farmer and a widower.  He died of suffocation and
asphyxiation from being trapped in a burning building (rooming house).  Burial
was made on April 9, 1956, at Forest Park Cemetery, Greenville, Texas.  L. L.
Porter was the informant.  (20552)
