Mrs. Ethel Redden Dies at Sherman

    Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 30, 1958, in
North Park Baptist Church in Sherman for Mrs. Ethel H. Redden, 54, wife of W.
T. Redden, 1703 North Binkley of Sherman.  She died Sunday night, September
28, 1958, at 8:30 PM in a Sherman hospital.  The Rev. Claude Johnston and Re.
A. W. Blaine, pastor, conducted the services.  Burial was in Memorial Park
Cemetery.

    Mrs. Redden was born in Celeste, Texas, December 31, 1903, the daughter
of Reece Lacy of Celeste and the late Mrs. Lacy.  On December 5, 1924, she
was married to Mr. Redden in Weston.  They moved to Sherman in April, 1939. 
She was a member of the North Park Baptist Church.

    Survivors besides her husband and father are two sons, Bobby Redden of
Sherman and Dwayne Redden of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Ruth Odom of
Dallas, Mrs. Roy Stapleton of Celeste, Mrs. Mildred Groves of Fort Worth; a
brother, Alvin Lacy of Ladonia; an aunt, Mrs. Nannie Hollingsworth, who
reared Mrs. Redden from early childhood, and two grandchildren.
