Comora D. Sims Smith
    Celeste--Comora D. Smith, 77, of Celeste, died Monday night in a Greenville
hospital.
    Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church here with
the Rev. Dale Hill and the Rev. James Seigler officiating.  Burial will be at
Dulaney Cemetery.
    Mrs. Smith was born July 19, 1902, in Collin County, the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Murray H. Sims.  She married Curtis Lawton Smith, Sr., on July 16,
1927, at Lane; he died in 1948.  Mrs. Smith was a Baptist Church member.
    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Don Anderson of Campbell; sons, David
Smith of Dallas, Benjamin Smith of Louisville, Kentucky, and Thomas Smith and
Curtis Smith, both of Mesquite; sisters, Lenora Tyler of Garland, Mildred Tyler
of Whitewright, and Minnie Stockstill of Gordon; brother, Jonathan Sims of
Sadler; and fourteen grandchildren.
    Pallbearers will be Herman Compton, Albert Granberry, Calvin Stapleton,
Jerry Warren, H. E. Rainwater, and Teddy Cole.
    Taylor Funeral Home of Leonard is directing arrangements.
