Tatum, 72, of Celeste, died at 9:30 PM, Sunday, December 30, 1973, in a Greenville hospital. Services were at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 1, 1974, in Taylor Funeral Chapel at Leonard, officiated by the Rev. Curtis Smithson. Interment was in Celeste Cemetery. Nephews were pallbearers. Mr. Tatum was born on October 22, 1901, at Celeste, the son of Thomas Tatum and Nannie Moore Tatum. He was a retired carpenter and a Baptist. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Cora Fuller of Tyler and Mrs. Bertha Armstrong of Celeste; two brothers, W. H. Tatum of Guthrie, Oklahoma, and E. Dan Tatum of Paris; also several nieces and nephews. He was divorced and a building carpenter. He died on December 30, 1973, in Greenville, Hunt County, Texas, at Citizens General Hospital, where he had been a patient for four days for pneumonia. He lived at 108 Highway 69 N, Celeste, Texas. Mrs. Bertha Armstrong, sister, was the informant. Burial was made on January 1, 1974, Celeste Cemetery, Celeste, Texas. (95621)
