All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** Della Weatherley Taylor Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM Tuesday in the Sorrells and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville for Mrs. Della Taylor, 92, a long time resident of Hunt County. Mrs. Taylor died at 8:00 AM, Saturday, December 2, 1961, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Molly Mock, Houston. The Rev. Albert Click officiated at the services. Burial was in the Merit Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor, who had lived in Celeste for many years, but moved to Houston, just eighteen months ago. She was born on December 2, 1869, in Lone Oak, the daughter of Graham Weatherley and Elizabeth Harrison Weatherley. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Celeste Methodist Church. In 1887, she was married to Richard Warren, who died in 1895. In 1898, she was married to Dr. W. J. McNatt. He died in 1924. In 1928, she was married to J. A. Taylor, who also preceded her in death. One brother and four sisters preceded her in death, also. Survivors include one son, Tom Warren; one stepson, Floyd McNatt, both of Greenville; two daughters, Mrs. Leona Sumrow, Lancaster, California, and Mrs. Molly Mock, Houston; a number of grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
