She passed away on October 12, 1959 at the age of 66 years, 3 months and 24 days. She was married to Pascal Jackson in Jack County, Texas in 1907 and eight children were born to this union. She was preceded in death by Pascal Jackson, also one infant daughter and one son Cecil Jackson and one stepson Burt Vandiver. In May of 1952 she was united in marriage to Joe Vandiver of Durham where she lived until failing health forced her to enter the hospital. Mrs. Vandiver was a devoted moter and wife to the end, always submitting her personal wishes and desires to those of her loved ones. She reared her seven children to maturity, always devoted to their welfare and advancement. She was devoted member of the Four Square Gospel. She leaves to mourn in her passing her husband joe Vandiver, three daughters, Mrs. Velma Shinault, of Elk City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Leona Mitchell, LaPuente, California, Mrs. Clara Beckel of Durham, and three sons, Everett J. Jackson, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Leon of Baldwin Park, California, 19 grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Also 3 step daughters, Mrs. Ruth Williams of Amarillo, Texas, Mrs. Modell Andrews of Canadian, Texas, Mrs. Josephine Moore of Odessa, Texas and 1 stepson, Sam Vandiver of Cactus, Texas. She is survived by brothers, John Littlepage of Haskell, Texas, Rufus of Mountain Top, Arkansas, and Jess of Antler, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Letha moore and Ettaa Harper of Littlefield, Texas and Sally Jackson of Clinton, Oklahoma, also a host of other relatives and friends.
