Weatherley, 94, of Commerce, a former Celeste resident, died at her home, Friday, October 31, 2008. Funeral services will be Monday, November 3, 2008, at 2:00 PM in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. John Wade officiating. Burial will be in Caddo Mills IOOF Cemetery. Mrs. Weatherley was born in Greenville, August 23, 1914, the daughter of Andrew F. Robinson and Eula Clarkston Robinson. On March 16, 1940, in Hope, Arkansas, she was married to Thomas B. Weatherley, Jr. She was a retired elementary school teacher and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Celeste. She was a member of the Celeste Thursday Club, Celeste Coffee Club, and Hogeye Community Center. Mrs. Weatherley is survived by her daughter, Linda Merle Hicks and her husband Terry Hicks of Celeste; son, Michael A. Weatherley and his wife Nancy Weatherley of Van Alstyne; brother, A. F. Robinson, Jr., of Greenville; sisters, Jerri Howard of Montgomery and Estella Griggs of Houston; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law Frances Hamilton of Greenville and Mildred Kohn of McKinney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Weatherley in 1983; sons, Jerry Glen Weatherley in 1985 and Thomas R. Weatherley in 1999; a grandson, Aaron Weatherley in 1988; and her parents, Andrew Robinson and Eula Robinson. Pallbearers will be Stephen Weatherley, Chris Weatherley, Cliff Clark, Scott Hicks, Lance Hicks, and Jimmy Hamilton. Visitation will be from 6:00 until to 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 2, 2008, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
