Montie Edward Williams
  Montie Edward Williams, 73, of 419 N. Tom Green, Odessa, died in the
Medical Center Hospital in Odessa after a lengthy illness.  He was the son of
R. S. Williams and Margaret A. Williams of Celeste, the youngest of seven
children.  All had preceded him in death.
  Funeral services were held in Hubbard Kelly Funeral Chapel in Odessa with
Rev. Ed Welch, minister of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church, Odessa, officiating.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Odessa.
  Mr. Williams was a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War I.
  He is survived by his widow and several nieces and nephews, including Ben
Duncan and Joe Duncan, formerly of Celeste; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Lillie
Williams of Celeste.
  Ben Duncan of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Joe Duncan of Tyler attended the
