All rights reserved http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ***************************************************** BILLY RAY WRIGHT Leonard, October 1, 1954 (Spl)—Billy Ray Wright, 31, of Houston and formerly of Leonard, was killed Thursday night when his car left the highway and overturned near Huntsville. Funeral services were held at the Leonard Baptist Church at 2:00 PM Saturday with the Rev. William L. Danby of Dallas officiating. Burial was in the Leonard Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, the former Lois Annell Lacy, to whom he was married on March 18, 1945; two children Gordon Wright and Gail Wright; his mother, Mrs. James Wright of Leonard; several brothers and sisters. The Perrin Air Force Base of Sherman conducted graveside military rites. Dodson, Electra; Lt. and Mrs. Joe Tilger and daughter of San Antonio; Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sikes and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Baker and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe McDonald and children, Dallas; Mr. and Mrs. Noel Sampson, Greenville; Mrs. Jim Roach, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Roach, Mrs. Howard Roach, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McGuire, Celeste; and Mr. and Mrs. Garland Roach and Mr. and Mrs. Bert McCraw, Greenville.
