Rountree-Roach
    Whitewright--Jennifer LeAnn Roach and Jeffrey Ryan Roundtree, both of
Dallas, were united in marriage here on September 6, 2003, in the First Baptist
Church, with Rodney Stanford, pastor or Kentuckytown Baptist Church,
officiating.*
    The bride is the daughter of Howard Roach and Cecelia Compton Roach of
Whitewright and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Roach, Sr.,
of Celeste and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tilmon Compton of Whitewright.  Rountree
is the son of Betty Beck Rountree of Mount Pleasant and John Robert Rountree,
Jr., of Dallas.  His grandparents are Jim Beck of Mount Pleasant and the late
Maydell Beck, and Dr. and Mrs. John Robert Rountree, Sr., and the late Bernice
Kirk Rountree of Dallas.
    The bride was escorted by her father.
    Misty Watkins of Dallas was maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Becky Rountree
of Dallas, sister of the bridegroom, and Traci Wright of Sherman, cousin of the
bride.  Allison Norfleet of Mount Pleasant was flower girl, and Blake Garcia,
bride's cousin, was ring bearer.
    Joseph Rountree of Dallas served as best man for his brother.
    Groomsmen were Jim Rountree of Houston, brother of the bridegroom, and
Kevin Roach of Whitewright, brother of the bride.  Ushers were Adam Earnheart
of Plano, David Smith of Houston, and Stuart Fuxan of Wills Point.
    Wedding music was provided by Vickie Stanford, pianist, and soloists Susie
Garner, cousin of the bride, and Lisa Threadgill.
    Guest registrar was Shelly LuAnn Swindell, the bride's cousin.
    The reception was in Whitewright Civic Center, hosted by the bride's
parents.  Assistants were Amber Compton and Kasey Compton, cousins of the
bride; Cara Coley, Amanda Earnheart and Jaime Fuxan.
    Following a honeymoon trip to Wimberly and San Antonio, the couple will
make their home in Dallas.  The bride graduated from Whitewright High School
and Collin County Community College.  She is employed by Wells Fargo in Dallas.
Rountree graduated from Poteet High School and Texas A&M University-College
Station.  He is employed by NEC America in Los Colinas.
    The rehearsal dinner was at The Chef's Gallery in Whitewright, hosted by
the bridegroom's father.
    Close family and friends enjoyed a Mexican buffet at Love and War in Plano

*The pastor who married Jennifer and Jeff was the pastor who baptized Jennifer
and Kevin.  Jennifer was married in the same church building as her parents.
(It had been renovated during that span of years!)
