Williams of Celeste will celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary at their home here on Sunday, October 1, 1939. Dr. Williams came to Texas from Alabama in 1886 and started practicing medicine in Hunt County in 1889. He has practiced in Hunt County since that time, the last thirty-seven years being in Celeste. Mrs. Williams, a daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. T. B. Spaulding of Kingston and Greenville, came to Texas from Louisiana with her parents in 1871 and has lived in Hunt County since that time. They have two children, Dr. T. S. Williams of Dallas and Mrs. E. T. Fry of Greenville. The have two grandchildren, Teddy Fry of Denver Colorado and Miss Dorothy Fry of Greenville. They will hold open house for their friends from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. (Undated clipping from Carla Cole)
