Rev. Barnett has just moved to Gibtown where he will preach for the Methodist church for the coming year. Henry Cox Mr. And Mrs. Hays visited their cousin, Mrs. J. G. Brown, but have now returned to their home at Osage, Texas. Our school is being taught by Prof. And Mrs. D.W. Porter as teachers. Mrs. Mary Ellen Webb of Weatherford visited her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Andy Easves. Post Oak News Rev. Davis, the Methodist pastor left for Burkburnett where he takes charge of the church of that place. Rev. Slagle takes charge of the work at Post Oak, vacated by Rev. Davis. The Methodists are laying the foundation for a new church building. Mr. Coker is adding some to his residence. Wilson & Harlan have enlarged their store and is putting in groceries and hardware. Dr. Ledbetter has erected a nice barn. Jermyn Items C.M. Thompson visited his brother in Iowa Park. Prof. J.W. Fulcher and Dr. T.C. McCloud visited the Gertrude school and school has been suspended on account of some heaters being installed in the school building. Prof. Moreland and Miss Jessie Morrison are the teachers. Oliver Loving L.W. Scott of Antelope Miss Lillie Thompson visited her cousin, Miss Thompson of Iowa Park. Jermyn News O.S. McClurkin has bought the lot from Mrs. F.N. McClure which was the old home place of her mother, Mrs. R.D. Bell on North Main Street. Gus Jones has bought the W.J. Dunn residence on South Jacksboro. W.M. Orman has sold his pressing and cleaning business and equipment to James Nelms and Jack Mahler. Pearle Roberts and Miss Rena Box of Bryson were married 15 December 1912 at the residence of the brides parents, Mr. And rms. J.M. Box, Justice B. B. Bryson officiating. Thomas Oliver and Miss Othello Clayton were married 3 December 1912, Rev. L.D. Shawver officiating. S.B. Barker and Miss Rosa Lee Dunlap were married 15 December 1912, Justice L.H. Bryant officiating. Willie Craig and Miss Lucy Solomon were married at the court house 11 December 1912, Judge J.P. Simpson officiating. Oscar Solomon and Miss Willie Wicker were married at the court house 11 December 1912, Judge J.P. Simpson officiating.
