J.M. Brimhall preached Sunday. Reubert Miller moved near Temple, Bell County. Miss Ethel Chowning of Plaster left to attend the marriage of her sister at Cundiff. Mr. And Mrs. J.J. Atkinson gave a dinner for their brother, Lee Atkinson of Wilkins, Oklahoma. Fred Smith and Miss Lizzie Bailey were married at the home of the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ches Bailey of Pleasant Hill. This is a popular young couple of the Pleasant Hill community. James R. Smith and Miss Katie Storie of Groveland were married 23 December 1912, by Rev. J.E. Statham. Luther Counts and Miss Eva Bryant were married by Judge Simpson Sunday at his home. G.W. Johnson and Mrs. Anna Johnson were married Monday by Judge Simpson. Last Thursday, Roy E. Dennis of Jacksboro and Miss Mable Chowning of Cundiff were married at the home of Rev. C.P. Welch, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Rev. Welch officiating. Mr. Dennis has resided in Jacksboro since a very small boy, and is well known by all, and has many friends. Mrs. Dennis was one of the most popular young ladies of Cundiff, and the young couple have the best wishes of many relatives and friends both in Jacksboro and Cundiff.
