Terrell dies suddenly Diplomat, Soldier, and Statesman succumbs to attack of heart diseases at Mineral Wells, last Monday Mineral Wells, Sept. 9 Judge A.W. Terrell of Houston, minister to Turkey under President Grover Cleveland, and author of the Terrell election law, dropped dead at his room at a local hotel. Judge Terrell with Judge James W. Swayne of Fort Worth and a party of other men had been automobiling during the day. When the party returned Judge Terrell complained of the heat. He retired to his room and when a maid went to minister to his needs she found him lying across the bed dead. D.O. Zelnar and Miss Jessie Amburn of Berwick were married at the home of L.H. Bryant, Justice Bryant performed the ceremony. R.C. Duncan and Miss Bruton of Bryson were married in Jacksboro Monday, Judge W.E. Fitzgerald officiating. Post Oak News Rev. Davis preached Sunday. Rev. J.K, Hicks and J.B. Brothers attended the Clay County Baptist Association. Mr. And Mrs. McRoberts of Newport visited their son, S.G. McRoberts Mrs. J.K. Hicks District Court J.R. On Wednesday at the residence of the brides parent, Miss Gladys, the only daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A.B. Edwards the well known attorney. The ceremony was performed by Rev. W.B. Holland, pastor of the Baptist church in the presence of a large assemblage of guests. Miss Blanche Hawkins of Chico played the wedding march. The bride and groom left in an automobile for Ringgold where they boarded a Rock Island train for a honeymoon to Colorado. They will live on East Ikard Street. Miss Maude Garner Miss Alice Lilly left for Dallas where she enters St. Marys College. Miss Ola Grubbs Mr. And Mrs. Lance Risley have gone to Beaumont to make their home. Walter Isbell has returned from Denton. Mrs. R.Q. Denman will open her art class at her home. N.E. Atkinson has bought the interest of J.J. Atkinson in their furniture and produce store. D.C. Horton took his sons, Harold and Fet to Bryan this week to enter the Bryan Academy. A post card from miss Allie Bryant states that she and her mother and sister are now located at Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Ward Rose returned from Wichita Falls where she entered her daughter, Miss Rose, in Mary Immaculate convent. Mrs. C.O. Hess will be found in their furniture store. Mrs. H.O. Bowman has secured rooms at the residence of Mrs. J.S. Rummage, near the school building where she has opened a music class. She has nine years experience as a teacher. Has taken Leiblings course studying under one of his own pupils. Dr. and Mrs. J.W. McComb of Oklahoma City visited their daughter, Mrs. Conner and their sons, W.B. and John D. McComb Mrs. C.O. Hess and daughter, Miss Helen will leave for Dallas to Milford where Miss Helen will enter the Presbyterian Girls College. Miss Mary Daugherty left for Weatherford to enter Fairmont Seminary of which Prof. Oakley who attended Presbytery here last spring is president. J.T. McNeil of Cundiff country was in town.
