Lasater, Jack County loses another of the honored pioneer citizens. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. F.G. "Ida" Huckabay, 17 July 1930. Funeral officiated by Rev. J.A. Matthews of Bellevue and interment at Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Lasater, 81, was a native of Tennessee and came to Texas with his parents, when six years of age, residing in Jack and Palo Pinto counties for about 75 years. He was married to Miss Annie E.
