Sam Hudson, 87, of Bryson died Sunday, April 9, 2006, in Graham. Graveside
services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 14, at Truce Cemetery with Buddy
Ward officiating. Coker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Hudson
was born Aug. 19, 1917, in Post Oak to the late Leslie Edward and Alta
(Lasley) Hudson. He married Jodean Holman Nov. 27, 1943, in Jacksboro. He was
a retired butcher. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.


Survivors include three daughters, Vickie Meer and Tracy Hughes, both of
Bryson, and Judy Ledermann of Mission City, Calif.; three sons, Justin Hudson
of Tomball, Ronnie Hudson of Bryson and Danny Hudson of Willis; two sisters,
Ester Belle of Bowie and Mable Perry of Tennessee; a brother, Alert Hudson of
Henrietta; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a
great-great-grandchild.
