Stoddard, on 3 Feb. 1907, Mrs. Julia A. Hodge. Mrs. Hodge was born in Columbus County, Tennessee, 12 March 1825. A large part of her lift was passed in Kansas. In July 1903, she came to Texas on an extended visit; on 21 August 1904, she had a stroke of paralysis. She was baptized in the Lutheran church and while not a member of the church at her death, had led in exemplary life. She leaves a son in Washington, another in Michigan, and three daughters - Mrs. Wat Elliott of Humboldt, Kansas, the twins - Mrs. Spearing of Live Oak, Florida and Mrs. Stoddard of Jacksboro, Texas. Three generations - her grandchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren folllowed her to the grave, the house appointed for all living.
