All medical aid was rendered that was possible, but death claimed him. He leaves a wife and many relatives and friends to mourn his loss. He was a favorite member of the Jacksboro Cornet Band, and had been almost ever since its organization. At a meeting of the band on Monday, 30 Janaury 1893, the following preamble and resolutions were unanimously adopted. By the vacant chair of our late friend and associate, Oscar M. Leach.
