Dodson on Carrolls Creek, where she had been visiting. Mrs. Green was well known here, having resided in Jack county for many years. The funeral of Mrs. Virginia E. Green was held from the Springdale Baptist Church. Rev. G.G. Alexander officiated. Mrs. Green was born in Mason County, Missouri in 1856, became a member of the Christian church when she was 16 years old, (a splendid example to the world). She came to Texas when 21 years of age and has lived here almost continually since that time. She was the wife of Theodore Green, the mother of four children, two sons and two daughters. The father lives in Oklahoma, the children live in Jack County. Interment in Springdale cemetery
