Newman, who was visiting her parents in Frankfort, Kentucky, died 15 August 1900 after a long illness. Mr. Newman was called there a few weeks ago on account of the illness. It was hoped when she left here she would improve, but the change did no good. Mr. And Mrs. Newman had made many friends here who sympathize with the husband in his great sorrow.
