Thomas F. Horton. Cause of death, relapse of malarial fever. All that medical skill could do was done in vain, Lewis was a quiet, steady, youth and dutiful son and brother. Only 17 summers had passed over his head, - standing on the threshold of strong young manhood, the Master called and he has gone to that bourne from whence no traveler returns. Mrs. Wesley Brandenburg was with him every moment during the last eight days and night of his life. Nursing, cheering, comforting and soothing him to his latest breath. A motherŐs price, a sisterŐs joy and guide to younger brother is no more. We pray that the God of the widow and orphan may smile on them and bless them, and that we all may be prepared to meet God in peace.
