The Masonic hall and school house was built in memory of Dr. James Wynn that noble hearted frontiersman who was killed at this place by the Indians. The Indian trail is now being blotted out by the honest settler; nice cottages, and farms in wheat, oats, corn and orchards. Joseph Gahagan
